Mentorship Programs

Our Mentorship Programs are built for youth and young adults who need more than a one‑time appointment - they need someone in their corner over time. Many of us know what it feels like to grow up without steady guidance, so we created the kind of support we wish we had.

Each participant is connected with a mentor who shows up consistently, listens without judging, and treats you with respect. Mentors help with everyday questions - how to talk to a landlord, handle a tough conversation with family, manage a first job - as well as bigger decisions about school, work, and relationships. This is not about telling you what to do; it is about helping you think and learn from each step.

As part of the program, we often invite mentees into our Life Planning Workshops. These interactive sessions focus on real‑world skills for independent living: budgeting basics, understanding leases, planning for transportation, setting short‑ and long‑term goals, and building healthy routines. You learn alongside others your age, which can make adulthood feel less lonely and overwhelming.

Mentors and workshop leaders stay in close communication, so what you learn in a group can be practiced one‑on‑one. If you are transitioning out of foster care or another system, we pay extra attention to building a safety net around you - people, plans, and resources you can rely on when things get hard.

The heart of our Mentorship Programs is relationship. We show up when life is messy, not just when you have good news. Over time, that steady presence can make a huge difference in confidence, decision‑making, and the sense that your future is truly your own to shape.
