Education Planning

Education Planning
Education Planning at Unity Neighborhoods Hub is about helping young people see a clear path forward, even when life has been anything but simple. Many of us have had to figure out school and training the hard way, so we know how confusing deadlines, forms, and options can be.

We start by listening. What do you enjoy? What are you good at? What kind of life do you imagine for yourself - next year and a few years from now? From there, we work together to set realistic academic goals, whether that is finishing high school, earning a GED, applying to college, or choosing a certificate or trade program.

Next, we break big steps into smaller, doable actions. We help you understand graduation requirements, compare programs, track testing dates, and plan out applications and financial aid forms. If needed, we can join meetings with school staff or advisors, helping you ask questions and speak up for what you need.

We also look at your whole situation - housing, work hours, transportation, mental health - because those things affect school success just as much as grades do. Together, we create a plan that fits real life, not a perfect‑world schedule.

Throughout the process, we stay in your corner. We check in, adjust the plan when things change, and remind you that one setback does not erase your progress. Our goal is not just to get you into a program, but to help you feel confident staying in it.

With Education Planning, you gain a partner who believes you deserve options and a future that feels like your own, not just something decided for you.
